Cornwall. Rugged coastlines of high cliffs and sheltered bays, flowers growing bright and wild on the headlands, small villages tucked in sheltered corners out of the wind and rain.
People here are poor, scraping out a meagre living as farmers, fishers, or miners. Hard labour and long hours for uncertain profit, and there are mouths at home to feed.
Small wonder, then, that they say that everyone in Cornwall from the oldest grandmother to the youngest child is part of the wrecking trade...

Shipwreckers tells the story of one night in the lives of a crew of daring folks working the Cornish coast as shipwreckers in the late 1700s. It is a historical RPG oneshot about bravery, poverty, superstition, and a little-known moment in history.
It is a game for 1 Master of Ceremonies and 3-5 wreckers, and takes between 2 and 3 hours to play. You can watch Shipwreckers being played online here on Once Upon a Game, a variety show for storygames and IndieRPGs.
The game was listed by veteran designer John Harper among his RPG Recommendations for newcomers to roleplaying in 2018.
